I have been putting to question for sometime, the structural integrity & designs of buildings for over 10 yrs. All I hear now is Build Green and yet none of these buildings truly FLOWS with NATURE, they still succumb to the natures flow for the area it was built in. To truly “Build Green” we must build to “Flow with nature, not resist it!” For, as long as we build inappropriately for the environment with witch it’s built in, the structure will fail, do to the natural environments it must survive in. Just look at Tornado alley, flood zones, coastal properties, and flashflood/drought zones like Nigeria, Africa. So much destruction and waste of natural resources, this is not “Green” Build Design! Most significant, the countless lives lost. Furthermore, the content insurance increases, for live lost, hospital stay for recovery, home and property (family heirlooms that can never be replaced) and lost jobs. Unfortunately to some, I found myself never truly attending school or living within the society I so longed for. Only to realize latter this was the best thing that could have ever happened. Teaching myself the three R’s, at 17 my mom left home, so I put myself through school & graduated HS at 18. Self starter, 20+ yr construction vet, Started working the trade at 17, with a background in Pastoral construction before hand I was a relief foremen at age 18 of General contractor. Exterior stonemason foreman at age 19, Rod Buster foreman at age 26. I learned to live off the land at an early age. Now trying to put myself out there as a New Age Architectural Designer

I was born dead (a breech baby) on the 18th & born alive on the 19th, I would not have lived yet a Doctor that was not my mom's Doctor was on call at hospital and he save me with the things he learned in Africa (So for me Africa is my MOTHER), my mom was told I would never be able to walk or learn well. At 5 yrs old the school said I was 100% retarded. By 6 yrs old I was taken out of school & was on the road full time with a Beatnik Mom in a 1953 Dodge Utility Van. During this time I seen first hand the beautiful in our world and the lack of understanding to build to live in "IT" & wished even at 6 yrs old that I could make the SUFFERING from Natural Disasters STOP. By 7 yrs we moved to a mountain where I started learning "Pastoral construction". We (Family of 5) still were on the road more them off. At 14 yrs old I did go to school for a short time. When at 17 yrs old & all other kids grown but me, my mom went on the road without me so I put myself in school and graduated at 18 yrs old. Not knowing Reading & Writing well (Phonetics is my first language), and 7 years in pastoral construction, at 17 yrs old, I found myself on the coast of Maine. So construction was my only real choice. So at 5'-5" 117 lbs I obtained my first job by carrying 2 Bundles of tar shingles up a 2+ story oak ladder to the roof. I helped build the second floor of MR. GOODBARS in Old Orchard Beach ME. By 18 yrs old a relief foreman of general contracting, and doing maintenance work on the side for a place to live. By 19 yrs old was foreman of exterior stonewall construction. At that time I decided it was time to learn more so that I could understand other forms of the construction process. So Rodbuster was next with T-Buck construction out of Boston building "One City Center" in Portland ME. I had my first child along the way and then a second well working as a Rod Buster. By 26 I was a Rodbuster Foreman. All the while suffering from age 14 yrs old on survivor skeletal, joint, & ligament pain from the years of hard manual labor as a youngen. By 33 yrs old total out of work do to pain so college was next. In 2002 an AAS Degree in Arch with a 3.2 GPA. A short while before graduation I was in a Car Crash where I herniated my back & neck & crushed my chances to work at a Arch Firm. Yet still the belief that I was born to sever a purpose DRIVES me FORWARD. So here I sit 48 yr old mum with one of 4 children in the home working on line Every day I can Skip off someone's Net WiFi to Spread the message of how we can be the Stewards of this earth, by "Build to Live" through "Building to Flow with Nature not to Resist IT", for by doing so we would insure for future generations; economic stability, social equality, a sustainable infrastructure, no more slum, reduce the strain on our natural resources, lower insurance cost, while protecting the civil liberties of ALL the world's people. "Natural Disasters are Natural, So why do they have to be a DISASTER!" GIVE THE VICTIMS A VOICE, MAKE CHANGE"
